My passion is helping people reach their life, work and retirement goals. Drawing on my professional experience as an advisor and former attorney, I work with a select group of families, professionals, and business owners, primarily in Texas and California.
I follow a confidential process, which begins by listening to each client. With the information they choose to share, I develop solutions and strategies, and then explain my advice and guidance in simple language, and always in an independent, objective, unbiased, and cost-effective manner.
Background and experience
In addition to representing, advising, and counseling business professionals, entrepreneurs, entertainers, and several families caring for family members with special needs, I also have taught trial advocacy as an Adjunct Professor of Law, and have proudly served as assistant district attorney for Bexar County. I currently serve as Treasurer of the Board of Governors for SA Youth, a local non-profit organization.
I grew up in San Antonio, earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, volunteered as a soccer coach, and sang a cappella music. I worked for several years in Los Angeles as a writer, actor, producer, and singer/songwriter. I then earned both my Law Degree (Not currently practing) and my Master's Degree in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine University School of Law, and served on the editorial board of the Pepperdine Law Review.
Away from the office
I live in San Antonio with my wife, our two daughters, and our dog and cat. In my spare time, I enjoy singing and playing guitar, or chipping away at one of the seventeen books on my bedside table.
