Raised by a single-mom, I learned at an early age the importance of building a solid financial foundation. Growing up in the Central Valley of California, much of my childhood was spent working to contribute to the household finances. In fact, a core memory for me is of me punching a clock for my grandparents when I was in elementary school to earn money to buy school clothes. This kind of responsibility taught me about the value of working hard, setting goals, and supporting loved ones.
My unique background makes me much more empathetic to the challenges my clients face when building, maintaining, and transferring wealth. That’s why I'm so passionate about understanding what’s important to my clients. I feel that through thoughtful and specific planning I can help my clients avoid the struggles that I had endured while growing up. That way, not only can they feel prepared for different life events, but they can also feel confident about achieving their financial dreams.
As a young man, I followed in my brother’s footsteps to serve the country in the United States Coast Guard. After finishing my time in the service, I started what became a very successful career in banking. The various positions that I held in banking earned me a wealth of experience, which culminated in working as a Financial Advisor, licensed and practicing since 2007. I'm an Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS®) and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®).
On a personal note, I'm a lucky husband to my wife, Mia, and proud father to Grace (15), Ava (10), and Donovan (5). I cherish my family and creating moments with them. Whether it’s traveling, camping, or enjoying Sonoma County, where I've lived since 2009, I see my family as the center of my universe.
