Life can be unpredictable. It's my goal to help take the stress out of planning for retirement. When I was young, my dad was diagnosed with cancer. I remember overhearing my parents one evening as they were trying to figure out what to do with his 401(k). It was clearly a source of tremendous stress. Even as a kid, that didn’t make sense to me. Families shouldn’t spend their precious time and energy picking funds for their retirement accounts (or figuring out what to do with RSUs, for that matter). I believe that there are better ways to spend an evening — and my goal is to make that possible for you. My name is Alan Hensley. I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ PROFESSIONAL with 15+ years experience in wealth management. I specialize in helping professionals and families simplify their finances and make smart choices with money. I am equally comfortable working with a technology professional to figure out stock options and employee benefits — or helping someone who’s about to retire build a peaceful retirement strategy. As a Wealth Advisor, my mission is: ● Simplify — Helping clients streamline accounts and get organized on the path towards their goals. ● Educate — Sharing information so that clients can confidently make decisions about complex financial tools (like stock options, Social Security, 401(k)s, IRAs, pension plans, Medicare, and more) ● Advocate — I am a fiduciary, which means that we always work towards the same goals: Yours. ● Reduce Stress — I believe that money should be a source of freedom and peace, not anxiety. One thing you’d never guess about me is that I co-authored a children’s book with my old daughter. Yes, the book is about investing!
